Tattooing is a lifestyle that expresses one's commitment to individual freedom and expression. Brad and Shannon Jenkins, owners of Sacred Grounds - in Bradenton, Florida - are an awesome couple who proudly display their commitment to the art of tattoo with their great studio. Sacred Grounds opened in August of 1997 and throughout that time many customers have come and gone through the hallowed doors of Sacred Grounds. Keeping the natives as well as the customer happy is an essential part of the Sacred Grounds ethic.

Doctor's office cleanliness combined with a great mix of Native American artwork and Mayan ceremonial masks make this Studio a comfortable option for getting some ink or pierced. The shop offers a true connection to Shannon's Native American background.
Both Brad and Shannon are very personable, likeable people who go out of their way to make their customers feel at home. They are also very active in promotions and sponsorship of tattoo expos, and the tattoo community in general. Shannon states that Sacred Grounds' goal is to give the customer exactly, if not more, than what they want.

Shannon urges "don't settle for less than the very best tattoo you can get." Shannon recommends taking advantage of the Sacred Grounds "layaway plan" to get the right tattoo. "Build your piece in increments if you need to, don't settle for a small complete piece in one session just because you only have $100 in your pocket at the time. [Especially if you really desire something larger or more intricate.] We work with our customers to ensure that when the piece is done it is the right size, and the right piece for that individual. Do it in three or four sessions if you need to."

We encourage you to look through our artists' pages and get a feel for what each individual artist specializes in.
If you see this sign on
the store front... then you know you're in the

!
We will even go so far as to sit down with you - in our lounge area - to help you figure out which tattoo is right for you.
